We have an app for offerings!
February 22, 2022
tithe.lyThere are three main ways people are giving. The first is the old-fashioned way - during Sunday services!

One is through a website and smartphone app called tithe.ly.  If you go to the site on your computer, follow this link. https://tithe.ly/give_new/www/#/tithely/give. At this site, you can register and set up your account so you can give funds directly to the church.

On your smartphone, download the tithe.ly app and set up your account. It doesn't take long. As you check out the site, you will see a place to enter the church name, and then you can give toward specific ministries of Five Mile. (Our address is 2701 S. Five Mile Road, Boise, 83709.)

Simply sending checks to the church at 2701 S. Five Mile Road, Boise, ID 83709 works. Some of us have our banks pay our tithe through online bill paying.

However you give, you have a BIG THANKS for remaining faithful to use your resources to further the Good News of Jesus!

What is a Nazarene? What do they believe?
October 14, 2020

Perhaps you have never heard of the Church of the Nazarene. That's okay, there are a lot of churches in this valley! We also know it can be scary to find one where you are comfortable with what the church believes.

The Church of the Nazarene is a global movement of Christ-followers who believe in spiritual formation through a personal relationship with Christ and an experience of the Holy Spirit's power in us. We believe God is calling every person to new life. He promises to deliver our hearts from the clutches of sin and to fill each of us with love for God and people everywhere. The result becomes beauty out of ashes; love, joy, peace, and a host of other gifts we receive even in the midst of this life that can be difficult.

Below is a little more about this. More details about this global movement can be found on www.nazarene.org.
