"25 Sense" -- The Movement Begins
by Melodie Turner
"I've been watching it for the past eight or nine months," says Pastor Ben Turner.  "Twenty-somethings are looking for direction and meaning in life.  They want to have contentment, but so much of life is still a question mark.  They yearn for a connection with God, but some of them are still working on finding out if God is real."

Pastor Ben began listening, and then began asking how he could help.  Out of this listening and asking has come 25 Sense. "I think that it is okay to for people of all ages, especially those in their 20's, to ask questions and to think deeply about what it means to navigate the 'quarter life'.  I believe the answers are there for everyone, and I am here to provide a safe place for that search," he said.

One premise of 25 Sense is that after a person hits 22, 23 or 25 years of age, they are no longer satisfied with "Sunday school answers".  "They want to own the truths they are learning.  It is more than hearing and then being able to repeat what was said.  The truth has to be discovered individually as well as corporately.  God gave us the church family and the Holy Spirit to help us on the journey."

So, welcome 25 Sense to Boise, Idaho. Feel free to come and experience this movement this Sunday at 9:45 a.m. at Five Mile Church of the Nazarene.
