Hello, I’m Pastor Ben Turner, Lead Pastor of the Five Mile Family. We call Five Mile a family because that is what you will experience when you come here. From the parking lot to the sanctuary, you will be greeted by Glenn, Herman, Mike, Krista, Judy, Melodie, and many others who want you to know you are welcome to the family.

Our family moved to Boise in 2003.  Prior to that Melodie and I served in churches in Alaska, Colorado, Kansas, and Utah. Melodie and I are pleased to have both of our moms living with us, Frankie and Eula. Our sons are all grown up and married now. Micah went to NNU and married the love of his life, Mallory. They were recently blessed with a sweet little girl, Lydian Page, who gets a lot of brag time on her grandparents' Facebook pages! They live in Denver. Phillip is married too and lives in Fruitland with his wonderful wife, Britney. They both are working hard on their educational goals. God has richly blessed us with a loving family, as well as a great church family.

In Psalm 68:6 David says that “God sets the lonely in families.” We believe that is true, especially at Five Mile! We want to be the family in which He places you as you move through your spiritual journey.
