Hello, I’m Pastor Ben Turner, Lead Pastor of the Five Mile Family. We call Five Mile a family because that is what you will experience when you come here. From the parking lot to the sanctuary, you will be greeted by Glenn, Herman, Mike, Krista, Judy, Melodie, and many others who want you to know you are welcome to the family!

Our immediate family includes my wife, Melodie, and sons, Micah and Phillip, plus my father, Ben and my mother, Frankie. Our entire family moved to Boise in 2003.  Prior to that Melodie and I served in churches in Alaska, Colorado, Kansas, and Utah.  Micah recently married the love of his life, Mallory, and they are continuing their education at Northwest Nazarene University (NNU).  Phillip just started NNU this fall and is enjoying college life!

In Psalm 68:6 David says that “God sets the lonely in families.” We believe that is true and we want to be the family in which He places you as you move through this journey we call life.
